Released alongside a landmark Human Rights Watch report, these videos highlight the barriers women in Saudi Arabia face from birth until death, as they are, in the view of the Saudi Arabian state, permanent legal minors. The videos were released via HRW's social media channels and quickly went viral, generating over one million views during the first day of the release, and having since garnered over 10 million views across platforms.

The videos were featured in The New York Times’ Women in the World (“Video reveals the cruel reality of Saudi Arabia’s male guardianship system”), The Independent (“The cartoon that shows how ridiculous Saudi laws are for women”), among others.
